You can run Google maps on it and track everywhere the car goes, no need for complicated electrical work and the thieves won't think to turn it off

We hide it. Only way is to disconnect the battery. By the time they try to disconnect the battery, I will get a notification from the app. If they tow it, I will know it and can follow. The GPS also has an accelerometer, if the car shakes, it send a notification (alarm stuff).
