Well dude, let me tell you something. Foxconn makes some of the best overclocking boards I've ever used. I'm running my E5200 at 3.7GHz with a G31MX-K 2.0.

Even Anusha has a MARS I believe and his E7200 is running at 3.8GHz or something.

Believe me, Foxconn pwns. Hell, they used to make the bpards for people like Gigabyte :P. Don't be fooled by the low price, they seriously pwn.

Thanks .. Well most says Foxconn Mars is great considering performance for the price.. I dont believe all Foxconn boards are great.. I was aiming for a good P45 board.. But if I couldnt find I would opt for a P35 Foxconn Mars..

I would definitely go with EP45-DS3R for that price if i could find it.. One of my friend had it (He bought it from abroad) and its a great Overclocker..
Ill let U guys know once I check all d shops in unity..

Asus is also good.. But good asus boards are bit PRICEEE..
I prefer P45 chipset over p35 within my budget(15k-25k) ..
EP45-DS3 is my ideal choice.. PCIE 2.0 is a bonus cause Im planning to Use a HD 4670 512Mb(Rs 18k) for graphics..

I heard P35 Foxconn Mars(Rs 16k) is great.. Not sure abt the Foxconn p45 boards I saw in unity ..

Thanks anyway..
You buying a 4670 and u think PCI-E 2.0 will make a difference??? For that card, even PCI-E x4 is enough. There isn't a card in the market that uses the additional BW in PCI-E 2.0. And wth you going for a budget card and 18k?? Geez! 9600GT, which is faster, is available for Rs.14200 at Barclays. Even then, it is way too mediocre for the other parts your are putting together. I wouldn't go for anything less than a HD4850 with your config. 4850 is about 25k at E-Globe Solutions. Don't waste 18k on 4670!!! omg!

i agree with Anusha.

Why exactly MUST you have P45?
Maybe EPU
Besides, if he thinks a P45 will give him a better overclock than a P35 with his Q6600, he is mistaken! multi 9 and quadcore-ness with air cooling will only require a FSB of 333-360. Even an old 945P will do that me thinks

lol, what a gimmick that is. I hate anything energy efficient :P.

I think the Q6600's awesome, but I think it'll be better to go with a quad which has a higher multi if overclocking. Quads are already hard enough to overclock as it is, a 9x multi would make it harder me thinks.

9x is VERY HIGH dammit!
FSB 1600 isn't hard on modern boards AT ALL, so that's 3.6GHz, which you can't hit in SL :D

Well.. great to hear 4850 for 25k  .. I would defa go for It.. And thanks for telling the place to buy.. It helps a lot..
I agree PCi-E 2.0 wont make a big difference with the current graphics cards.. but I thought P45 is slightly better with OC compared to P35..

Not with a Q6600, because FSB1600 is a breeze with a P35. You won't need much more FSB than that.
