Hi,
I need to connect my PC(A) and my friends PC(B) together through the internet so we can both access each others hard drives. we both have 512Kbps ADSL Modems.
I tried Windows Remote Dekstop connection (using IP address) but couldn't connect to that PC. I tried several softwares and some tips on the internet. They are hard to understand. So if ya guys know about this type of networking please reply here.

well hi , it's really hard to connect 2 PC that way , Caz SLT doesn't provide us a static ip addresses so that it keep changing bcoz of that we cant use Remote Desktop, you should follow the method VPN but the thing is because of we're not getting a static ip we cant connect . so that there are some software you must install the server side on 1 pc and client side on other side so that you can connect each other. but i never tried that i think we have to pay for that.

well... there is 1 software you can try but i have to search . so I'll put it .. wait OK

Use hamachi VPN client. There is a free edition which satusfies almost all our needs.

Run Hamachi. & some one you or your friend create network & the other person join it.

Then you can access each other's pcs as you;re in a LAN.
Even remote desktop or anything you have inmind.

& yes you can multiplay with your friend through the internet If you use Hamachi.
Its that easy
