US has the most universities in the top 50 list for CS. True.
However, Europe also has few in the list.

    For example
    Switzerland - ETH, EPFL
    Germany - TUM, KIT
    Sweden - KTH

Remember, for a masters in the US you will pay hefty fees, where as in the Europe it is "almost" free.

Saying that, If you can get into Harvard, MIT, CMU UCB or Stanford....and you have the money, go for it.
That would look great in your CV.

If you take countries like Germany or Switzerland, as an international student you pay no tuition fees in all gov universities for all the BS and MS programs. You only pay a semester fee, which includes transport ticket in the city and access to other services like library, Labs etc. Semester fee is around couple of hundred bucks for six months ;-)...Compare that against the US.

    There are few exceptions.
    • Some universities in some states have tuition fees (e.g. Baden-Württemberg state in Germany has some tuition fees to international students (around 1500 Euros for semester). Even this is also much much cheaper compare to the US or UK.
    • Obviously MBAs are not free. Even then, MBAs are much more cheaper than to their counterparts in the US or UK.
