haha Good for a Lawyer. Because they can put pressure even after the incident.

Even there were 2 police officers and even after a baloon test (over the limit drunk), if you're a lawyer of a person attached to the media industry, you'll deff can survice without facing the court or a fine!

As a civilian my strategy was / is / will is to talk with the cop/s properly and give some good respect to him, better if I'm wearing a tie... and just agree to him that yes, I've done a mistake.. And appologize giving him some good respect and to ask him not to fine..

Samawenna ralahami, waradeemak une. Podi hadissiyak nisai haiyen giye... aayith nam ehema yanne naha bla bla.. Ane ralahami me sareta witharak dadayak gahana epa mokada mage job ekata hoda naha bla bla baila

More than 5 times I've done it succesfully.

(All were high speeding incidents only aroung 85 - 90kmph maximum. Not drunk. Coz people who drive after drinks are selfish and stupid people, who risks the lives of others - Nothing personal!)

Police needs to provide a better customer service. But in SL you can't argue with cops. In here, Australia you can! - But not in SL. Coz they take it personally and some day some how you'll be in a trap set-up by them...

Lolz:lol::lol::lol:. Nothing personal taken man !

Yeah, that's the way to survive, but I was just making some point for you guys to remember "IN CASE" if you have a run down with a cop.

common man. I DID sAY it was just 2 KM from the club to my home. :) that too is just inner roads and I was driving less that 45 KMPH ! "HONEST"

(although you can question the Honesty of a Lawyer very much:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:. I am saying the truth this time)

    Common dude,

    1. It was Saturday
    2. I was bored
    3. I was alone
    4. Got a call from mates asking to join
    5. Joint up and got totally wasted till 3.30 am
    6. Yeah, let's not metion about the "chicks"

and was Just heading home as a good citizen man !:lol::lol::lol::lol:

just 2 KM from Point A to Point B. I was happily driving home with a "person" in my passanger seat when this Copper appeared out of nowhere and stopped me.

Started abusing me (ok, verbaly) of me and my passenger and being drunk (both of us) and threatened to put me into the cop shed, pound my vehicle and hold my license for 6 months on that.

WELL..LIKE FU_K you gonna do that with me. :growl::growl::growl::growl::growl::growl: I was actually pleading to let me go on the first, but the nut case copper got more and more abusive thinking of taking a good amount of "BRIBE" from me.

I got Raging mad and pissed cause he was trying to take a bribe fro me.......So, I just excersised some of my vested powers of "democratic rights" on him and asked him to just "FU_K off":lol::lol::lol::lol:

WHY THE HELL did you go?

Simply say NO, I am going home and I am not coming to the Police station.

yes, easy to say than done. But remember 1 thing mate. If you have a passenger or a witness to stand by you.....it's not a problem even getting a whack from the Cop... cause you can simply take off his JOB by proving that he HIT you.

Yes, you would think that I am Crazy cause if you try do that, the cop will murder you in the night in your home before the court day??

Trust me Kid, I have seen enough Police officers CRYING like babies and begging people to let go of such cases, cause they want to keep their jobs.

I have seen ENOUGH cases where people sued cops and NOT ONE, i repeat, NOT ONE was ever harmed. BUT they were sometimes Threatened., but never harmed !

They are NOT as tough as they like you to think they are !

I thought love is blind

Trust me !! Law is not BLIND ! It can see through every aspect you can ever think of !

But yes, it's a two edged dagger !!

Example : O.J. Simpson case : He murdered his wife on broad daylight, stabbed her, chopped her head and dragged the body 85 meters - out of the house to the pavement and into the car lot.

But he got away with it , Reason : His lawyers questioned the accuracy and the method of DNA testing done by the US state police and a "SINGLE" contradictory statement given by a Cop against the court Medical Officer !
well If I'm not mistaken isn't it in the court u find that lady with a libra blind folded:rolleyes: :P

Well the judgment is given based on the science of LAW, right?:P
Rather on HOW WELL you can prove your Point !

Example: K.N Choksy (yes the Minister) once was hired by the Maharaja Corp to fight a case against the CID. The case was only heard for TWO days. ONLY FOR DAMN TWO DAYS........can you believe it?

And CID had to end up paying penalty charges for Maharaja Crop.

What the argument ? Well, there was a question asked by a CID officer from a KEY Suspect of their case (of the Maharaja corp)

Question : Thamata mey siddiya mathakada? (can you remember this case?)
    Reply : NO
Question : Ehema kohomada, thamata mathaka thiyenna ONEY (how can that be, you have to REMEMBER!!)

so, Choksy just took that point, and told the supreme court that this evidence was taken by force and cannot be taken as TRUE !

:) so, again.... it's not the science, it's just how WELL you prove your point !

So basically LAW is just a debatable statement, the person who can prove his/her point is the LAWYER. Simply saying the person who can lie well, pretend well:P(no hard feelings;):))
So u just saying that LAW doesn' have any logic a all????
Cuz of what I knw, Science have logic:D:P

OH NO NO, LAW IS LOGIC !

Actually LOGIC is the Father of LAW :D

And NO, Lawyers do NOT lie although that's the most comman misconception about Lawyers.

what makes you think I would let my opponent lawyer get away with a Lie, cause if I can PROVE he lied, I will win my case hands down :lol::lol:

LAW in my opinion, is about HOW smart you are to catch that single point to turn the case around and Law is about HOW much you have read or done your homework than the opponent lawyer.

Trust me Kiddo, being a lawyer is no easy job, you have more home work to do than a kid sitting of his A/L's. It takes great amount of reading, planing, preparation and brain twisting law arguments to earn your living. (example : the Choksy law suite I told you about earlier, Choksy has taken 12 such court cases which has happened around the world and their rulings--------so it shows you how much EDUCATED and WELL READ that guy was )

I am not talking about that normal "deed" writing lawyer chap who lives down the lane... I am talking about Criminal lawyers, Law consultants and lawyers of the higher caliber.

BUT, you just earn Pretty GOOD :D:D:D:D:D

That's the problem with most people. I call them "Ponn_yo". No kidding !!

When you are born to a democratic socialist county like ours, you have certain human right POWERS vested on your from Birth. A citizen or ANY citizen living under the boundries of this country has the "RIGHT" to excersise them at free will. Your problem is, either you are not educated or you are such a pea brain scared sh_T head that you cannot STAND up for your self.

So, just for the argument sake, if you say cops can DO ANYTHING, would you just stand by and watch when a cop comes and rape your sister or Girl Friend and walks off ?? ( I bet that's what you going to do !, cause you are the type who allows such thigs to happens JUST because you are scared to voice your opinion and excersise your RIGHTS as a citizern of this country)

Learn something for your self KID. Knock your head on the wall till it bleeds and try to knock some sence into you if that's what it's going to take. !!!:lol:

Never revier or be scared. Police is here to PROTECT and Safeguard you. ! not to DO ANYTHING THEY WANT. !! unless you let them abuse their powers simply because your are whimp enough to stand up to your self.

Let me tell you guy & girls something that you should NEVER FORGET !!!!. I don't know if you would get the meaning of this, but atleast TRY TO.

Democracy is about Two wolves and a sheep deciding on what to have for Dinner !!!

    BUT

The power to stand up for your self means : A well armed Sheep calling for a recount of the votes !

pala kari po***yo yanda meka uba hithanne hari loku wadak kiyala mama nam e police karaya thota p*ke arala yawanne
