Don't laugh. It's not a laughing matter.
That's NOT the bad news... if this is true it's bad news for a vaccine.
However, this was noticed earlier but was attributed to a re-infection because of the possibility that they never got cured 100%. There could have been traces of the virus still inside the lungs and resurfaced later.

Unpopular opinion: In the end the countries that went along with herd immunity will come-out on top. Less old people to worry about and minimum restrictions with regards to daily activities will minimize possible effects of an economic fallout. These countries came out on top for the exact same reasons and not by being humane..

Can you catch coronavirus twice? South Korea reports 91 recovered patients tested positive.



South Korea reported Friday that almost 100 patients thought to have recovered from the new coronavirus had tested positive again, sparking fears that populations could become re-infected with COVID-19.
The Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that 91 people who had previously been cleared of the virus had tested positive. The KCDC had said the number had risen from 51 cases reported earlier in the week.

if west succeeded that way it means there's worldwide trend coming after this that hates old and sick people. people will glorify hatred towards elder population. grand parents will be seen as blood sucking parasites that inhibit nations advancement.

but if china could manage it with restrictive measures without killing their old population there's at least a valid counter argument.

Influenza viruses constantly change. It's called Antigenic Shift and Antigenic Drift - in plain language mutations.
Antigenic drift happens frequently, antigenic shift is much less.
That's the reason.
