Yeah,, heard it.. although the main killer of covid 19 is Pneuminia there were considerable no of deaths due to Blood clots,, still the exact explanations has not been given,, some are doubting whether they have the ability directly to attack the blood vessels,,,
There are few explanations done by scientists,, could be a direct damage to the heart and vessels, or vessels may damage due to Lack of oxygen cz of the lack of lung function, or may be due to inflamation process..

and btw even the SARS outbreak on 2003 or so has shown same kind of complications,, there were reported deaths due to blood clotting...

I wonder where these experts are fast asleep. This was reported by the Chinese in March and even the Lancet carried an article. This is reinventing the wheel

"If you see a high D-dimer like that, you have to give anticoagulation, regardless of the underlying mechanism," agreed webinar moderator Junbo Ge, MD, president of the Chinese Cardiovascular Association and ACC China chapter governor.

However, Harlan Krumholz, MD, of Yale University, called for first testing whether anticoagulation helps.
