Only Vitamin D could be of help and also Vitamin B to a certain extent. Ever since Covid started, since a year ago, I had written several times here to take Vitamin D 1000 - 2000 IU every day. Vitamin D has been given since the SARS epidemic, and helps in all respiratory diseases and it was noticed that those old people who died from Covid first had low Vitamin D levels. During SARS old people were administered with 20,000 IU of Vitamin D injected IV as a prophylactic treatment.
Many of us can be Vitamin D deficient. Did any of you have checked your levels anytime?

Also Vitamin B can be of help as it can regulate our innate and adaptive immune responses and also helps to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokine levels. So there is some basis for it.

You can forget the rest of the elements in the Periodic table and various tablets that's on the Fakebook which are pure marketing strategies. These are only used in India and just based on hearsay and not on evidence. :P
Zincovit and Vitamin C does not help. If anyone can show me a study, please go ahead.
Yeah.. Thanks for ur effort on educating ppl
1st V'll see the simple mechanism of these headline suppliments...

Vit C - It's a water-soluble vitamin that is an antioxidant and free radical scavenger that has anti-inflammatory effect... Also have a benificial effect even in severe sepsis..
Zinc - It can Impair the replication of the RNA viruses..
Vit D - Simple way to say this is it increases levels of T cells in and may also increase T cell activity and also protect against acute respiratory tract infection.

BUT.... NO CLINICAL TRIAL SHOWS THAT ANY OF THESES DRUGS ARE BENIFICIAL..
They Say there is no Reduced hospital stay or Reduced mortility shown for High doses of C, D or Zinc..
But Vit C & D both showed a Placebo effect... same time they reccommeds against the ue of Zinc...

Currently there are studies on IV Vit C.

Even though these suppliments are not included even in our National covid guideline I still use them as a practice, as theres no harm, and because of the placebo effect.. But NOT ZINC... never used..

The truth is non symptomatic Covid pts needs supportive care only.. not medication,,, PLUS symptomatic treatment if needed...
But U know if we implement this in our centers... next day morning we'll get the complains from their family member or hardly found some higher official
    saying ""
And I rush to see this so called AMARU LEDA just to see him playing either cricket or carrom with the other pts... expierienced a lot..

It's true that Zn can stop the Covid replication in-vitro, and works on several classes of other virii. But any trials done did not find it effective against the Covid virus within the human body. On rhinoviruses it does work.
I remember even the studies done early 2020 with augmented Zn & Chloroquine wasn't of much help.
You are 100% correct when dealing with all patients in South Asia. They obviously know more than you for a start and needs several antibiotics, otherwise the doctor isn't good at all. The Indians are worse than us. :P
Hope someone finds an anti-viral soon or at least that Israeli drug is going to work.

Machan isn't Vit C an immune booster? I thought C is given quickly to recover from flu & cold. Since Covid too has similar symptoms, wouldn't that be helpful? I've heard even Zinc helps respiratory issues in older people.
Many infected were given the above C, D, Zinc mix in their recovery stage.
Yeah ur points are corect bro, but in covid 19 they've done several trials with no satisfactory results, no rediction of hospital stay or motility, there a placebo effect in vit c and D , but theyve recomment against zinc…
Btw these suppliments are not included even in our national covid guideline, but still v use them as apractice as thy do no harm

Immune Boosting - is the fine art of selling Immunity on Facebook & Instagram

Understanding the above will make rest of the thinking process quite straight. :P
