I'm a writer.

For more than 2+ years I've been a top writer in Towards Data Science. I was getting 90K+ views, $$$ per month for a portion of my articles, and writing for a blog was simply... fantastic!

Unexpectedly something has changed.

Last September, I decided to take a step back from the famous Online Publication Towards Data Science (And 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦.𝐜𝐨𝐦 of course) because I felt like the content I write on it is not actually belong to me and is not owned by me (Even though they said it is!)

However, I didn't want my articles to sit on their butts till I get 40! so I needed to concoct something.

Being a code geek since 2013, I didn't like the feeling of using a drag and drop website for this! (That's fake web dev!)

So I went old school and started creating a blogger site utilizing Blogger with old-fashioned HTML and CSS. You will not believe it was a thrill ride venture since it's been a long time since I last miss a <div> tag!

But the good thing is, I had the privilege to brush up my web dev, CSS, UI-UX and SEO skills for the last 4-5 months (1-2 hours on each weekend) and I came up with **drumroll** 𝐰𝐰𝐰.𝐣𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐤𝐚𝐫𝐚.𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐠 just a few days ago!

You can discover articles that differ from Data Engineering, Software Development, to Poetry, Lifestyle, and Love. We cover them all.

Go ahead and investigate, read, remark, question, distinguish mistakes and I really appreciate it if you can simply share your opinion Again, The Jayasekara.Blog is live!

Thanks bro Mmm.. Honestly, Start with a few python training. Follow a couple of tutorials where you can read a dataset, clean them and perform simple analysis on them and visualize using seaborn or ggplot libraries. Start with that. Will only take like an hour (assuming you have everything installed on your pc/laptop)
