This is great considering the maximum practical speed attained my HSDPA is about 4.096 Mbit/S. that is about 524.288 KB/s. (4.096*1024/8)
You have to be very lucky to get that speed
* Normal mobile base stations are provided with just one E1 line (2.048 Mbit/s) for all its voice and data communication. So this speed has to be shared my all the subscribes in that BS.
*Sometimes BS are provided with 2 E1 lines (4.096 Mbit/s)
*To get that maximum speed limit you have to be the only subscriber connecting to that BS at that time.
