SLT now going to broadcast TV (IPTV) over the existing copper loop...DBN have to think twice then.... Market value of the ADSL will become more critical then....
Really SLT don't make any quota scenario with the customers.... ADSL is lines areslow during the day time as SLT have the international Bandwidth of 622+310=932 Mbps. All internet traffic to be flow via this line ... its said to be 50000 ADSL customers in Sri Lanka now...
I'm using ADSL and Dialog WiMax 4Mbps at my office maximum download i got through the Dialog is 150KBps.(Not kbps)..But i can easily reach 220 KBps from SLT ADSL 2Mbps line...
This is the my experience guys...

yes now everyone see the difference between both SLT ADSL and Dialog WiMax.
So dialog should be take a review from customers. Otherwise they will lose a huge revenue.

well mama slt adsl rs.2500 package eka gatte me mase[16 wenida],danatama mama 25gb withara download karala thiyenawa....lol,mama 160gb hard ekakuth gatta

SLT Broadband Rs.2500 home package is da best,in SL there is no one got plans like slt,every1 charges for MB's dat downloading and only slt got unlimited plans

so imo SLT is still best in broadband connections in SL.

If we want a internet with Strict QOS we never choose to this kind of link.
Yes SLT is going to take a solution like that. But they never limit download. They only going to increase their QOS within the network. If they wanna do this kind of thing they already have a technology. Thats how they measure user traffic for their rs1000 package.

SLT have different kind of solutions for Priority traffic.

Do u ever heard in any country that DSL use for carry PRiority class 5 traffic.
