Every foreign degree is NOT of the same standard. An MBBS from a SL Government Uni has a standard. Those from Colombo and Pera top the lists on the qualifying exams in other countries. That's a fact.

On the top of the lists feature MBBS from Bangladesh... while the bottom are the cheap degrees from Russia & China.

Doctors are not doing the job only to earn money. They do it because they like healing people; for the recognition and respect they get, status and social standing which can hardly be achieved by other professions.
