සද්ධා පදය ප්‍රසාදය, පැහැදීම, කරුණු තේරුම් ගෙන ඇතිකරගන්නා අවබෝධය ලෙස අර්ථ දැක්විය හැකි ය. බෞද්ධ ශබ්දකෝෂ නිර්මාතෘ සිරි ලියනගේ මහත්මා සද්ධාව පිළිබඳව අර්ථ දක්වන්නේ “ශ්‍රද්ධාව, භක්තිය, පැහැදීම, සිතෙහි ඇති කරගන්නා දැඩි පැහැදීම ධර්මය කෙරෙහි බුදුන් කෙරෙහි ඇතිකරගන්නා දැඩි භක්තිය ආදී වශයෙනි.
