Google chrome is awesome you'll just have to try it more reliable than IE and Firefox and from my experience also faster.... Not many extra features like skins and major addons but for those who just want to browse the web it's perfect

yeah can be a bug but the whole application crashes because of this. Can't run it properly.

If you're unable to successfully install Google Chrome, try the following steps:
    1. Follow the uninstall process to remove all relevant Google Chrome files on your computer. Then download the latest installation file from http://www.google.com/chrome and reinstall.
    2. If you're still unable to install Google Chrome, delete the 'Google Chrome' folder from the following locations:
      • Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\
      • Windows Vista: \Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Google\
    3. If the above steps fail, please let us know so that we can investigate the problem. If possible, attach the installation log in your report. The installation log is located in the following folders on your computer:
      • Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Temp\chrome_installer.log
      • Windows Vista: \Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\chrome_installer.log

The application installs properly. But the error comes when starting it. Can't do anything.

I reintalled it again and did as you told ! But still the problem remains :(

hmm.. ehemada... well restart karala try karanna machine eka... otherwise one last thin there u can try...

    Go to
    • in WIndows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<replace with da User Name on PC>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Google Chrome\User Data\
    • in Vista:C:\Users\<replace with da User Name on PC>\AppData\Local\Google\Google Chrome\User Data\
There you will find a folder called "Default". Rename it to "Backup".
    Then try opening Google Chrome.

Even if that fails then go again to that location where u renamed the folder and Cut the folder (not copy, Cut) and paste it in:
    • in WIndows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\<replace with da User Name on PC>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Google Chrome\
    • in Vista:C:\Users\<replace with da User Name on PC>\AppData\Local\Google\Google Chrome\
