I heard that core 2 duo is better but price is the problem...what is the price difference of Core 2 Duo compared to 2.0 Dual Core

If you are not going to gaming with the system, then dual core is more than enough.Pentium Dual Core is cut down version of Core2Duo.Same architecture .
