The NATA Act is the main legislative framework for alcohol and tobacco control in Sri Lanka and its amendment “The Prohibited Tobacco Products Regulations, No 1 of 2016” bans “manufacture, import, sell or offer for sale” of “any flavored, coloured or sweetened cigarette that contains tobacco”.


2016 ආපු පනතකින් ලංකාවේ රස කරපු, පාට කරපු සිගරට් විකිණීම තජනම්.මෙතෙක් කල් සුවිච් සිගරට් වර්ග විකිණීම එතකොට වැරදියි. මේ වගේ පාට දාපු , රස කරපු සිගරට් වලින් කොම්පැනිය අලුතින් සිගරට් බොන්න කට්ටිය ලේසියෙන් පොල්බවගනවා. විශේෂයෙන් ගැහැණු අය . ගොඩක් රටවල මේ තහනම තියෙනවා.
