Ok, I ordered a Vivitar SF-4000 slave flash unit from EBay through normal US post and it arrived after 10 days with customs holding it. Then I released it. When I tried to use it the batteries didn't contact correctly so I ended up removing the flash and bending the pins so they would fit.
Two days later the flash stopped working... ready light comes but flash does not trigger... since I opened it no way to claim warranty and its too expensive to ship back. 67 USD wasted.
Today I ordered a Yongnuo YN-560 flash for 86USD with S2 slave mode... And payed for EMS 24USD!
I heard that EMS does not get caught to customs! is that true?
Also EMS is faster than normal shipping right? its being shipped from Hong Kong
