"There was a camp not far from here, just across the lake. It was called Camp Blackfoot. No one goes there anymore. Everything burned down. Now this camp had a caretaker, a really evil bastard. And his name was Cropsey. Everyone hated him. Cropsey was a sadist. I mean, he got real pleasure out of hurting people, scaring them. And he had these garden shears, The kind with long thin blades. One time, this Cropsey really went after this kid from Brooklyn. Followed him around night and day. He made this kid's life a living hell. The kid and some of his buddies had planned a little prank that would scare the living shit out of Cropsey. Only problem was, the gag went wrong. The next thing anyone knows, Cropsey's trapped alive and burning in his bunk. They try to get him out but the fire's so fierce they can't reach him. All they can do is stand outside, and listen to him cry out in agony. They say he smashed his way through the bunk room door, just a mass of flames. And as he screamed out, burned alive, he cried out, 'l will return. I will have my revenge' They never found his body. He survived. He lives on whatever he can catch. Eats them raw. Alive. No longer human. Right now, he's out there. Watching. Waiting. Don't look, he'll see you. Don't move, he'll hear you. Don't breathe... You're dead!"

- Too late. You are Too slow, Chief.
···········
- Everything okay, Chief?
- I saw Paolo. And I found your pills. We know that you're ill.
- Let's not talk about me. Tell me about the crooks.
- We think Van Camp blackmailed his predecessor, Jean de Haeck. Is it to do with children? Who else is implicated? The Baron?

- Make it explode.

A corroded diving bell descends amidst a ruined city and the Assassin emerges from it to explore a labyrinth of bizarre landscapes/dystopian nightmare set in a post-industrialized world [that’s forever teetering on its last legs, but never quite falls over] inhabited by freakish denizens/hyper compartmentalized society that’s struggling to both die and reset. Everybody’s looking for something, but it’s often hard to tell what until they [the Assassins, the Surgeon, the Alchemist and the Last Human] either find it or just set the next domino in motion.

- Tell me what exactly you want. The details can wait.
- Well, if it's possible. I would like her to forget what happened to us.
- You wanna erase someone's memory?
··········
- What do I do with this mushroom?
- Put it in your wife's dessert. She'll eat it and start to forget.
- Wait, but how can we control it to make her forget just that thing?
- I'll take care of that. I'm leaving tomorrow for three months. Plants and fungi need high humidity. You're gonna maintain it. The spores in the apartment will get the job done right.
- Wait, so you want us to house-sit while you're away?
- Works for me. When the job is done, you can pay what you think it's worth. Deal?
- What if this doesn't work?
- It will.
- Deal.

In The Orphic Trilogy, writer and director Jean Cocteau utilizes the Orphic myth to explore the complex relationships between the artist and his creations, reality and the imagination.
"I [have] long said art is a marriage of the conscious and the unconscious. The work of every creator is autobiography, even if he does not know it or wish it, even if his work is ‘abstract’. Appreciation of art is a moral erection. It seems to me nearly the whole of [my] work can be read as indirect spiritual autobiography" -Jean Cocteau
An exploration of the plight of the artist, the power of metaphor and the relationship between art and dreams. Film is an imaginative collection of oneiric sequences. [synopsis]
First episode: the wounded hand, or the scars of a poet.
[a young man, a poet, attempting to draw a series of faces. Suddenly, the mouth of one of these ‘faces’ rubs off in his hand and starts smiling. Terrified, the poet accidentally smears off the mouth of the female statue he was working on]
Second episode: Do walls have ears?
[The female statue comes to life and, in return, forcefully sends the young man through the mirrored portal to another, imaginary locale at a mysterious hotel. where he peers through several keyholes. The artist cries out that he has seen enough and returns through the mirror. He smashes the statue with a mallet]
Third episode: The snowball fight.
[An older boy throws a snowball at a younger boy, but the snowball turns out to be a chunk of marble. The young boy dies from the impact.]
Fourth episode: The profanation of the Host.
[A card shark plays a game with a woman on a table set up over the body of the dead boy. The card shark extracts an Ace of Hearts from the dead boy's breast pocket. The boy's guardian angel appears and absorbs the dead boy. He also removes the Ace of Hearts from the card shark's hand. Realizing he has lost, the card shark commits suicide. The female player transforms into the formerly smashed statue]

Seeking inspiration, the poet follows the princess from the world of the living to the land of the dead, through mirrored portal. [synopsis]
- Mirrors are the doors through which Death comes and goes. Look at yourself in a mirror all your life and you'll see death at work like bees in a hive of glass.
- Heurtebise, there's nothing more to be done.
- Yes, there is. Find her again.
- No man can do that unless he kills himself.
- A poet is more than a man.
- But my wife lies dead there on her deathbed!
- It's one of her faces, as the princess is one of death's faces. It's all false! Your wife is in another world. I invite you to follow me there.
- I would follow her to hell!
- You needn't go that far.
- With these gloves you will pass through mirrors as if they were water.

Jean Cocteau, plays himself as an 18th-century poet who travels through time on a quest for divine wisdom. In a mysterious wasteland, he meets several symbolic phantoms that bring about his death and resurrection.[synopsis]
- Our works kill their authors and get away. But the creatures of our imagination are still suspicious about their origins. I wonder...
- Best not to.
- I wonder if you yourself.
- It's possible. Sometimes I'm annoyed with you. Sometimes I'm glad I live outside the world where I was. But I'd like to save you from your situation. But we know nothing of yesterday and tomorrow you humans are subjected to them, and to succeed I must guide you or rather follow you through obstacles after which I shall obtain what I want.
- Couldn't you enlighten me as to the obstacles?
- I don't know them myself. I'm at sea. The only thing I know is that this flower is made of your blood and follows your destiny.

Based on the urban legend "Cropsey Maniac" the boogeyman of Staten Island in New York City.
- Empty crack containers. You wanna know what the latest drug craze is, you should go check out Uncle Billy's trash can. Junkies come and go, but Billy's trash can is always there. Right now it's full of that shit.
- Speaking of that shit, tell me something. What's a blue jean cop?
- Well I'm strictly bargain based. Wranglers and Levis.
- You lost me.
- As I bust on the other hand wear Sergio Valentes.
- Richie, you wanna run this by me in English?
- All right.
- Take some cop, some average guy who never had a shot at the big bucks all his life. Just going along, grinding out his 27 five a year. All of a sudden he ends up in a mod squad. One afternoon he busts some scumbag carrying a bag full of chemicals. The bag full of chemical's is worth more than the cop's gonna make in 10 years. Next day is out shopping for designer jeans. The lure of easy money, very hard to refuse.
I met the love of my life. Only I killed her dog before I had a chance to tell her.
She was everything I ever wanted. We met at Shakespeare in the park. Rained like hell in a day. Had an umbrella. We went back to her apartment. She went to the bathroom, I sat on the couch. She had this great big damn dog. The dog had a ball. I threw it. The dog brought it back. I threw it again harder. I'll never forget the sound of that dog's paws on the newly waxed floors. How was I supposed to know she left the window open? Her dog fell 13 stories, landed on top of a parked car. I went over, leaned out the window, looked down, threw up and left.
- I understand you not wanting to answer, but I need your help. You had a control surface problem on the Atrian 800? Could the MagnetoHydrodynamic Drive be faulty?
- Why ask me that? Ask Atrian. It's a dumb Atrian system. The machine pilots the pilot. The plane was marketed too soon.
······························
- As you know, piloting and communication systems are hard to make secure. Could we imagine someone hacking into the navigation system? Data exchange and onboard wifi cause new flaws. Couldn't hackers exploit them? Could some geek enter the pilot system via the in-flight entertainment?
- First, an auto-pilot problem, now hacking, what next? A new theory every day? Your job is to analyse recordings, not to make stuff up.
