    THIS IS A RECOMADATION TO GTRZ AND OTHER MEMBERS, POST YOUR VIEWS ABOUT THIS.


    Genaral-

    1.Threads and requests must be made in the appropriate sections only.

    2.Spam such as referral links and money-making schemes have to result a Ban.

    3.Religious debates must not allowed in elakiri.

    4.Political Arguing, swearing, Insulting, and or criticizing any member will get you an warning and if it done more will be punished by a ban.

    5.Moderators have to stop hijack others thread by going off topic. always have to stay relevant to the topic.

    6.Uploads containing Trojans, Phishing links, have to make a instant Ban.



    Senior Member-

    1.Limit of 100 post must raise to at least 250 posts to become a senior member.

    2.Only a senior member can start a thread.(this will avoid the users coming from fake ID's and making threads)

    3.If not post count can be same 100, but until 100 posts member can't make threads.



    Signature-

    1.We need signatures.

    2.Members have to make at least 500 posts to use a signature.

    3.Only a personal link can be added in sigi without a direct massage.

    4.And need a limited size to avoid large images.



    Threads-

    1.First post of thread must be allowed to edit by a request to the Admins and moderators.(this can be used in mega threds like movie threads, so users don't have to go through all the pages)



    Reputation-

    1.Only a senior member can have a rep power.

    2.Member must be able to report -reps if they came without any reason.

    100% Agreed with you bro, a very useful idea as well as a thread,
    Discipline should be tighten up here this aint a place for vandalism and insults as well as well as discriminations.Great post bro.we need to follow these and kick out who don't lol, thats how we can be the best community in SL , or else we will be just like other forums,

    It need not have to be that way, this is ELAKIRI . i further extends my support!

    I believe GT will agree on this. :)

    If religious debates are not allowed, better to ban political debates as well.
    And remove the reputation system altogether.
    Much better to simply have a Post Thanks system for posts where if the reader finds the post valuable, they can thank the author. The thanks count can be considered a reputation of sorts.

    here's some more rules to use :
    Rules on Forum Username


    • The Forum username must not contain any offensive content.
    • Racist content within a forum username is not allowed
    • No advertising is allowed via the forum username


    Rules on Avatars


    • Avatar dimensions should be less than or equal to 100x100 pixels and the size must be less than or equal to 50 kilobytes.
    • No Pornographic/Racist/Indecent/Advertising content allowed in Avatars
    • No URL linking allowed in the avatar (Means the avatar must not be clickable)


    Rules on Signatures


    • Signatures must not contain Pornographic/Racist/Indecent content.
    • Maximum length of signature file is 5 lines which includes any blank lines used for spaces..
    • Signatures should only be in black. Hyperlinks will be the default hyperlink color. No other colors permitted.
    • Only the standard font size to be used for signatures. No other fonts should be allowed. Bold and Italics will be allowed but no large fonts or Impact, Tahoma, Verdana, Georgia etc.
    • No images in signatures not even those smilies.


    Rules on Topic Names (Thread titles)/Blog Topics


    • Empty topic names will not be allowed
    • No Pornographic/Racist/Flame Topics will be allowed
    • No single word Topics will be allowed (no topics like 'Hey' allowed)
    • Topics should be relevant to the forums in which they are posted and the topic name should be relevant to the message posted as well
    • Topics must not be links to other sites/web content
    • Graphics heavy topics should have a warning given in the topic name it self
    • Topic Spamming is not allowed

    • Empty posts will not be allowed
    • No Pornographic/Racist/Flame posts will be allowed

    • Posts should be relevant to the topic

    • No Pornographic/Racist/Indecent Images allowed in posts.
    • Spam posts are not allowed
    • Copying and pasting of articles from elsewhere, without providing links to the source is not allowed

    • All violations of the forum rules detected by forumers should report it to the mods or admins either by Report Post feature in the Forums or via PM.
    • NO ONE is allowed to flame another person via the forums or PM.
    • A member who gets five or more PMs against him to any one Mod/Admin will get banned. The five or more PMs should come from individual members of the forums (one PM per member) and it should not be from other Mods. Those who sends the PMs must be active participants of the forums who has a post count of at least 150 posts. The PM should give valid reason for the request.
    • All rule violators will get 3 warnings before action is taken against them. The actions may include total banning from the forum boards.
    • When a topic is locked by a moderator the topic creator must PM a request to any of the Moderators/Admins to unlock the topic and the request should contain valid reasons as to why the topic should be unlocked. If no request is sent after 5 days of locking the topic, it will be queued for deletion.
    • Upon request, a forumer's topic will be converted to a Sticky topic, provided valid reasons are given. (A PM should be sent to any Mod/Admin requesting this)
    • Foul Language within the forums is not allowed.
    • No pyramid schemes, referrals, affiliates and other illegal activities are allowed to be advertised anywhere in the forums.

    Its good but I dont agree with the post limit to start a thread. Most of the time the threads started by users with 0 posts is well useless but still there might a chance that one might post something useful. The rest are a good set of rules. You should apply this to the blogs as well. Better PM this to GTRZ so he can consider them.

    And about kosandpol's post

    I dont think 150 posts is a good limit the person should be a senior as in must be an active member for about 1 yr and post count shouldnt be a matter then.
