elakiri international moderators. (note this thread in elakiri pro)

i would like to know Lich or GT's opinion on this idea.

As we all know, ek is the number one sri lankan online community, and has many members placed all around the world. Unfortunately Lich or GT can not be online 24/7 to police the site. Would it not be a good idea to have a couple of members from all different countries/timezones to act as moderators when our trusted leaders are unavailable.
These so called moderators (i am putting myself forward for such a position) would have minor adminastrive powers to help keep ek in such a manner that we are accustomed to. Anything done by the moderators that does not keep in line with the ek community would lead to the said moderator receiving a life ban.
The position would only be when Lich n GT are unavailable and at all other times any moderators would be just regular members of the community.

Do you think this would be a good idea? Do you live in a different timezone to sri lanka and think you'd like such a position? Please tell your thoughts on this.

Thanks a lot for ur Idea. we have already a moderator in ElaKiri. he is online 24/7 as i noticed. anyway we will see if we have any more ideas of taking more moderators. but currently i think this one is enough coz he mostly in the nite. anyway thanks for ur idea mate.

GT as an administrator is a Human being so he cant be online 24/7 as u said

But i don't think i could dedicate myself wholesome to the site, which is why i suggested more than one person from varying country or timezone. Therefore moderators would overlap each other at different times and days.

well, if someone is going to be a moderator, I think they should personally meet GT / Lich and discuss, since as we all know It's hard to trust someone without talking face to face.
