Well i think the problem is there is not enough info about this machine.

If you look closely into the video you may see that driver is also padling by the foot when he reaches some speed, so in my opinion it seems a hybrid of electric+human power.

So it mightbe interesting to know the technology, anyone from UoM can help us wih this i guess.
