Ok... i first visited Sri Lanka in 2003 to watch England play cricket & Visit some temples. (Mama Buddhist!). On that occassion i became friends with a Buddhist Monk from Elpitiye, harida?
After the Tsunami i travelled to SL to help with the relief efforts- I am not a rich man, i had to sell nearly all my belongings to fund my trip. I stayed at the Gedera of mage Hamuduruwo Yaluwa in Elpitiye and was working for the Sri Lanka Red Cross & the Temple Forest Trust. I was there for 4 months.
The folllowing year i stayed in Kelaniya, Kosgoda & Horana (@Nalanda Pirivena- the Nayaka Hamuduruwo is staying @ mage pansalla in London and invited me to stay there), i was there for 4 months in total. This year i stayed 3 weeks in Kirrulapone in Jan/feb then just now i spent 2 months in Rawathawatta & one month in Ragama.
I only met mage nona this year but we fell in love straight away and decided to marry. Pissuda? Mage nona works in the tv/film industry as a costume director/designer. She has done commercials for Dialog, Sun Life, Coca-Cola, Janashakthi & Atlas. She has done movies and she is the cheif costume designer on telly Drama 'Mahathala Hatana'
She speaks good english but i am always trying to improve mage sinhala. I can easily read and write Sinhala but talking is a podi Prash nayak!
