additionally, I guess Dual core has 2 cache memories and C2D has one cache(normally a big one) memory which is better than hving 2. cuz da processor can directly access cache data(which is fast) than separately looking for 2 caches(which is slow);

Well YASHAN you what you told is not quite right. Your PSU has a hold on time.In simple There is a time that PSU can hold without electricity.After that it goes blank.For example my PSU can hold up two sine curves.Meaning we get 230V @ 50Hz it can hold 1/25th of a second without power.Some chinese crap cant hold on a 1/50S so they turn off because UPS cant switch that fast.
That was the case with old times.Mostly.

Not with good PSUs.They can @least handle 5000hours without serious effect.That means 1/50 of a second.But yes,Capacitor aging is too a problem.What I really meant was in the old days we got worst of PSUs.Now a days I see some good PSUs coming to us.
BTW I think its time to upgrade the guide in the siggy.Know of prices and added parts to the market recently?
