Well, this was a strange situation. Maybe because I'm still not used to the concept of multiple voltage rails. What I have has only one voltage rail, so if it fails, the whole thing fails.

This happened to me too.HDD stops and starts spining again.Now it is fixed.Warranty ended on last month.Was waiting to open it.Its so hard to wait 2 years to open a PSU.Cleaned it and Voila.Works like charm.Its so good to have that kind of a supply.Every thing is jacked,just pulling out will do.

I have experienced this too. I couldn't connect both my hdd and ide combo drive. Later psu and mobo burnt.
