Face Detection: How does it work?

කවුරුත් දැකලා ඇති නේ අලුත් digital camera වල තියන Face Detection technology එක.ඒත් ඒක වෙන්නෙ කොහොමද කියලා දන්නවද?
මේ හැම digital camera එකකම තියනවා Processors සහ Sensors කියලා දෙජාතියක්.ඇත්තටම කිව්වොත් මේකත් පුංචි computer එකක් තමයි.මේ කියන Processors සහ Sensors හසුරුවන්න digital camera එක ඇතුලේ තියනවා පුංචි පහේ Operating System එකකුත්. Face Detection වැඩ කරන්නෙත් මේ අයගෙ උදව්වෙන් තමයි.
digital camera එකක් නිශ්පාදනය කරද්දි එයාලා මේ digital camera එකේ Database එකකට මිනිස් මුහුණු වල හැඩතල,අනුරූ(facial structures) මිලියන ගනනක් ඇතුලත් කරනවා.
එයින් කීපයක් තමයි මේ

- Structure of eyes(ඇස් පිහිටන ආකාර)
- Structure of nose(නාසය පිහිටන ආකාර)
- Distance of eyes to nose(නාසය හා ඇස් අතර තිබිය හැකි දුර ප්‍රමාණ)
- Face size(මුහුණු වල ප්‍රමාණ)

වැදගත්ම දේ තමයි Face Detection Algorithm එක. මේක නිශ්පාදකයා අනුව වෙනස් වෙන්න පුලුවන්.මොකද තරඟකාරිත්වය අනුව හොඳම Face Detection Algorithm එක හදන්න තමයි කවුරුත් try එක.
මුලින්ම camera එක තමා ඉදිරියේ තියන දේ( frame එකක්) input එකක් විදියට අරගෙන database එකේ තියන structures එක්ක සසඳලා බලනවා.හරියන ඒවා තිබුනොත් තමයි ඒවා අපිට focus කරලා කොටු කරලා පෙන්නන්නේ.
මේ වැඩේට බාධා වෙන දේවලුත් තියන්වා
ඒවා තමයි
- Low light situations
- Subjects not facing the camera
- Distance between two subjects very high
දැනටමත් ගොඩාක් නිශපාදකයින් මේ ගැටළු වලට විසඳුම් සොයනවලු. අනාගතෙයෙදි මේවා ගැටලුවක් වෙන එකක් නෑ කියලා හිතෙනවා...

btw now cameras got more detections than face,mine havs face,smile,blink detection too.some have pet detection.it's the same after training
