tnx for the advice, i ll try it in next dlc. btw i really like playing darksouls 1, i finally got the drake sword and now its really fun to play with that op sword. hard like crazy but its fun to play. but the thing is i accidentally attacked an npc and he chased me like crazy, theres nothing i cud do to stop him so i killed him. so i am wondering if its ok to kill npcs or if theres any way to revive them or something. its really annoying when we attack npcs while we are talking with them or while accessing their store menu. i was buying some stuff and pressed the wrong key and attacked him, too bad. didnt mean to kill. rip npc
you can't revive an npc.
they'll appear again only on NG+. It is best if don't attack npc's since they have some valuable items.
Play with a gamepad if you can. It's much easier.
Try a wiki if you are having trouble.
The drake sword is good for the first couple of minutes
Even I used it for a while. Does good raw damage but as you keep levelling up you'll understand it becomes shit later
Really bad scaling in that sword.
And it's not as interesting as some other weapons. The moveset is similar to a greatsword, slow and heavy but not as long as a greatsword.
Ditch the Drake sword as soon as you make your way to andre the blacksmith.
Black knight and silver knight weapons are also fun to play with. And have good scaling and damage.
There are a lot of interesting weapons to play with other than the drake sword.
Try a katana.
I favour the Uchigatana.If you have mastered the parrying technique use it.
My advice is go lightweight, and use quickness to your advantage.

repair your swords dude. Always keep them in good condition eevery single minute.
And try enhancements, bombs AND SPECIALLY DECOCTIONS.
Witcher is fun when using an alchemy build. Try out decoctions cause they'll give you tons of advantages. But you'll look like a zombie
i am in the Prowling Demon's castle (killed the demon tho), thats where the npc was, he was a blacksmith and i had to kill him cz he attacked me whenever i walk by him. and then i entered to the forest and there are some huge knights chasing me all the time and killing me. i died more than 100 times there, dont know what to do, those knights are too stronk

dude that blacksmith is one of the most important characters in the game
Very important when upgrading certain types of weapons.
The knights mean the giant stone knights??

try to always get behind them. and stay away. after their combo is over go and hit a couple. they are slow so if you are patient you can beat them easily.

They are also not that hard when you get used to it. I always parry their attacks and do massive damage by counter attacking.
It's time to throw away your drake sword since it's not very useful now.
