I've maxed out alomost everything too.
It's not that. I've changed my monitor to Reading mode. Somehow with the darkness the photos look a bit different and sleeky. In the normal brighness or a standard mode there ain't much of a difference.

I have the DLC's too. They are free of course.

But the Triss' dress isn't that impressive and not suitable
I mean how can you run & fight & stay out from the spotlight without getting noticed in that dress?
But yennefer's one looks damn sexy
