Don't think we can compare the two scenarios. They didn't have this kind of budget, support & hype for witcher 3. & both witcher 2 & 3 were amazing games. But this was overhyped by both fans & devs & their marketing promised to deliver exactly that but failed in some aspects very miserably.
When you watch the older trailers you can see that they have changed the story a couple of times & must have wasted time doing that.
But story, characters, playstyle rpg elements,key graphics wise the game is so fucking good. That's what I enjoy rn & trying not to get concerned about bugs.
If a multiplayer is coming out & with how cdpr supports modders the game has massive potential to be something really good in the coming years.

Yea the game is pretty damn good. But you'll start to notice the issues after a while. If you don't pay any mind to them it's not that bad.
Like some of the stuff is the best ever shit I've seen in a video game but some stuff like AI is worse than ps2 game.
Anyhow I'm having a blast playing rn. Almost at the end of my 100% playthough. Took almost a week playing full time.
Also I don't understand the fuss about clothing. Other than head gear everthing else look good if you know how to match them up. Also when you learn crafting etc, getting the stats isn't hard either
