bro it's the best open world I've seen in a game by far. the level designing is super creative

Better than witcher d? Haven't played a proper exciting open world since the Witcher 3, for me at least
dude Red Dead Redemption 2 is miles better than Witcher 3
better than red dead 2 & witcher 3 open worlds imo. but it depends on your taste
Both of these games aremostly just focused on scenery, the exploration & the design is kinda plain cause it relays alot to real life. But Elden Ring has a lot of fantasy elements to it so they just went ham on designing the open world
The design of the open world is nothing any other game can compete with. It's so damn amazing
but it leaves a lot for you to seek & find out
most open world games uuse that for the sake of being open world, everything is quite similar & doesn't give you that intimidating, finding something new kinda approach
In Elden Ring the curiosity is always there when you progress every single time
& the world is so brutal
And it's really easy to miss alot of stuff even if you're searching thoroughly, I've missed a couple of side bossed even after finishing an area while searching through a lot just because the world is so damn huge
This is easily the biggest game created ever imo/ Haven't seen anything to this scale. & I'm like only half way there or so I think with 65hrs in the game & arnd level 80
& the best part is you won't get bored or lose excitement. Sure you'll get frustrated cause of dying over n over but that's how souls games are

what platform did you play this on mchan, i heard that PC version had some technical problems.
PC yea some stutters on some open world places but I think it's patched now
Elex series (1 & 2) also has a good open world. the setting is mixed though ( Fantasy + Post-apocalyptic + futuristic etc)
