well it depends, on what u use if for, this card is not for gaming, its extremely poor @ handling 3D graphics so its useless for modern gaming, but it has the same Pure Video HD features as the high end counterparts so its very good at playing HD h.264 and VC-1 video streams,

    no idea.try to buy a GF8800 GTX

lool if ur insane do, this card is useless for the money u have to spend for it, if you have money to buys a 8800GTX buy a 9800GTX or buy two 8800GT's so u can smoke all the rest of the cards to the middle ages lool (providing u have a SLI enabled motherboard :P) or buy a single 8800GT its the best bang for the buck even now and when overclocked its quite faster than a 8800GTX

I'd say the 9600GT is the best bang for the buck.

Dude wats ur budget? but the best VGA cards r made by XFX and E-VGA, no questions about that.
8500 GT is awesome card but not very much fit for High Resolution stuff.
Other wise u can go for 8600 or 9600 GT.. 9600 GT rules the market upto now when u compare price to performance ratio. But im not sure where to find it in Sri Lanka.
Anyway any idea how much the 8400 GS and 8500 GT costs?
