Siri is good at NLP. It is better at recognizing natural language. Although Google Now works better with our accent it seems. I have both on my iPhone.

On Wikipedia : "Siri was originally introduced as an iOS application available in the App Store by Siri, Inc., which was acquired by Apple on April 28, 2010 " so Siri is not an original Apple Application, it comes from a 3rd party. Development is entirely done by a separate business entity with a separate development team. So apple is free from that task and because of that they clearly have the edge. In comparison Google must be appreciated for their efforts because they does all by them selves and does it really well to compete with an already established application.

Dude, I believe no one here is looking to give an award or a medal or something to companies that does good things. What we are concerned about is what we get as products from those companies and how they compare to competitor products.

If Google Now outperforms Siri, then that is a reason to buy an Android and it goes in the other way around too.

Who said NO? Did I say we should give an award to somebody? I just explained my point of view on how they go about their business. That's it. Nothing to argue about it. I don't know what's wrong with some people to get things personally over things that they don't own...like they own these companies :frown:

Non of my expressions were made to support any of these products. Neither the video I posted. I only posted my personal experience with running both software on my iPhone.

I didn't want to dig up how hard they developed these stuffs and whether they developed them by themselves or they bought them from another companies, so I'm not the one playing the CEO role here. :P
