No actually i like when they have both...
If u are talking about players well i like POWER DVD, jet audio, media player 11 and of course VLC player. but i only use it to view corrupted files and extensions that i can't open in other players......

Anyway-

i really look in to sound and video quality and user interface.....

Anyway good post about Open office, thanks bro...

Oh one more thing open office needs JAVA platform to run, so better put a link to download it too...

Copy Ur Files Faster with TeraCopy!

TeraCopy is a freeware compact program designed to copy and move files at the maximum possible speed, also providing you with a lot of features. TeraCopy integrates into Windows Explorer and by default handles all file copies and moves, however this can be changed via the Menu button.

Copy files faster: TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce seek times. Asynchronous copy speeds up file transfer between two physicalhard drives.

Pause and resume file transfers: Pause copy process at any time to free up system resources and continue with a single click.

Error recovery: In case of copy error, TeraCopy will try several times and in the worse case just skips the file, not terminating the entire transfer.

Well either genuine windows or not so genuine I am trying to avoid things which need cracks and this and that as much as possible. So for the moment I thought of posting only well tested/certified freeware. Jet Audio Basic is indeed free.

Power DVD is not trialware... u can get a Final version 7.0 or 6.0
