Uncle Billy Goat will ensure that no matter what

. For me personally, as long as I have known about BitTorrent it has been Azureus (alteast 99% of the way). Simply put, its easy to use. Its a freeware used by millions and its quite safe (Same cannot be said about some of the other clients). Has a sh!t load of features (the most I think) which most home users wouldn't even give a shi!t about. It so far hasn't crashed, but it has crashed my old machine after eating hidious amounts of RAM.

Since it is Java Based, you'll need one of the following:
