it really helped me to unlock the e220. Tha thing is i have a e160 too and is locked and has 10 unlock entries. I have its efs.bin but i dont know how to ldentify the right hex-chain to get the correct unlock code. If you can help me to identify the code i would be greatful. Buju.

You can find all the necessary tools and another advances Hex Editor also there. I have unlocked the modem provided by Dialog and now i'm using Airtel unlimited (no FuP there )

You don't need to pay any deposits and you can get the data connection from Airtel Kollupitiya branch. You only need to pay the activation fee 500/-. And you have to submit a billing proof (Bank saving acc passbook or something).

From Dialog HSPA, im getting 1.2-1.8mbps downlink speed ( 100-200kpbs uplink) in Kelaniya. what about Airtel???
