i have a 250GB IDE hard it was working good but yester day i fixed a pen drive with full of virus.i installed KIS and i was scanin and sudenly KIS showed me a VIRUS and i pressed delete or something and the sudenly the pc was shuting down and restarted,then it boot up and it came to the login and when i entered the PaSS it gos to the desktop and come back to the login screen i tryed and tryed but it did not work...........
So i tried to format the C:. And installed Xp but after i installed it when it comes to virtifing DMI tools it tells:
Hard Disk error press ctrl+alt+del and i pressed it and did not work tried installing XP again but the same PROB came.
Then i fixed my bros hard a 40GB IDE and formated it with XP and it ran fine ok..
the i fixed my 250GB both at the 40GB master and 250GB slave adn booted it booted up well and in my computer i can acces my 250GB all the partitions no worrys adn i then backed up all the im portant stuff to it adn for mated the C: in the 250GB and it formated BUT the autorun is still there WTF and i removed my bros 40Gb and tried to boot up with the 250GB still the same **** problem so guys how can i fix this plz help me out i cant run on my bros HARD i know that the HARD is completly WORKING FINE as i could acces the partitions and backUP
so plz plz help me.
can i fully format the hard the FULL hard and make it as a brand new hard.
plz help me guys

how come ur anti virus allowed stuff from pendrive to be read at all ?
