APC UPS's doesn't look that great, at least on the specifications listing. 600VA can only supply a 390W power. PowerTree 600VA's can supply 480W power. And I couldn't find out the switching delay of them. Mine has a maximum of 0.2s (0.1s typcally)

However, I couldn't find much info about your Power Supply; mine neither. :(

I just told you how I got my problem fixed. Maybe that APC UPS doesn't have a low switching delay. Can't say for sure.

same prob with me! I've Powertree 600w. And i replaced the battery 2-3 months ago. Fails on my new pc!

You better buy one of those good power supplies - once you can buy for around Rs.5,000. Your new PC is too heavy for your power supply.
