I have AIA health insurance. 30K per month for 2 adults and 1 child. Each having 1 mil per year. If you don't redeem within the year, it will carry forward 25% to next year until 4 years.
I have claimed one time for me and wife when we admitted due to Dengue. They paid close to 4.5K per both + 25K each (5K per admitted date + 1 extra day) + covered all medical tests/doctor appointments pre admission and post admission.
I had to pay around 40K from hand as my plan was not covering the admission fee (or something similar - I couldn't remember. This was 2 yrs back)
Best thing was I have only started this insurance policy 4 months ago when we got admitted. So that risk management factor was worth for me.
