machan there are two different types of london a/ls one is cambridge which is harder and the other is edexcel which is easier however now both of these have the same recognition so doing edexcel will be much easier but expensive than cambridge and the whole A/L is divided into two AS level and A2 level so in one year u'll be doing AS then the next year u'll be doing A2 unlike the local A/L the whole thing isn't in one session and here again the subjects you can do the exams in units so u dnt have to study alot just one unit per exam depending on whether cambridge or edexcel the syllabuses are online go to www.xtremepapers.com u'll be able to find it there for all the subjects and also the past papers
