- Make sure that the USB cable is compatible with your phone. For more information, refer to your phone manual or to the Nokia PC Suite web page.
- Make sure that you have selected to use PC Suite mode or default mode on your phone. To change the mode, disconnect your phone and reconnect it to your PC. For more information, refer to your phone manual.
- Make sure that the connectivity cable and the cable drivers are properly installed. If the installation of drivers has failed, they must be reinstalled. For more information, consult the Quick Guide for Installing Nokia Connectivity Cable Drivers.
- Try connecting the cable to another USB port. Avoid using a USB hub unless it has an external adapter to supply enough power for connected devices.
- Restart both PC and the phone and try to create the connection again.
