Exactly! Then why are you disturbed by it? Trying hard to find where is Praba is at? does that matter to you?
Whether Praba is dead or not, or his body found or not, or its showed to public or not.. why do you bother? even if he is not dead.... that too public will forget after a while according to your theory.... so why worry? for you it should not be a matter to stir.. because you say it will one day come to a state that people would behave as if nothing really happened...
Everything matters because it is part of our life.. More you know it is easier to live without being disturbed.
We can't know everything but we should know everything we can..
without being disturbed. Actually what disturbs is not what is outside. What disturbs us is the emotions which arises within us. I have trained myself to maintain upeksha toward what arises within.. So I can think and search for things without getting disturbed by what I find.

So that implies that you only want to seize the moment and have fun..
What I enjoy is the different responses.. I think everyone enjoys something or the other in the forum.

So it is Good eh? You have anything against a MAN who does good?
Doing one thing right doesn't make someone good or doing something wrong does not make one bad.. People are a mixture of both. So we respect what is good and condemn what is bad.

If I'm not mistaken, you suspected that Army will ever finish the job in the first place, what happened to those suspicions?
I usually think Army as an extension of the Govt.. not an individual force. That is why many misunderstand my threads as Anti SLA posts. I think Army is only a hand which is governed.
When someone slaps you, you would not blame the hand.

Can these ideas / doubts of yours could be wrong too in the future? YES or NO!
Always.. yes.
That's what they are.. If I have no doubts I would not post them for more ideas... more doubts..

Well.... I'll keep the option open for you to find who's kid you having... that's not my problem.. but I can't see an answer to my question here!
Were you happy when your kid was born? YES or NO?
Yes I did..
With every little thing he shows growth I enjoy.. I create situations we can enjoy as a family.. I usually enjoy everything in life.... but very less attached... I usually do not suffer when I miss something or lose something... not that I have the emotion... I feel sorrow, greed, anger... all these things... but they do not make me mad.... I have the training to see them at the level of the sensation just before it becomes an emotion... if I do not take that step back, the emotion would become a thought, and thought can become words or actions... If I have to act I can act without disturbed by emotion. When I was a student I remember that I killed and burnt a centepede who bitten me in the night. Now if that happens.. I can throw him out without a trace of anger toward it... That is my growth... So I understand others when they are emotional.. I know that they can't help it.

If you were happy what were the reasons?
I don't really know.. As I understand it is the joy inbuilt within us by nature for its existense. I enjoyed the experience. It depends on my purity of mind.
sri_lion said:
If you were not what were the reasons?
This is not relevant but I think people who are very defiled or with diverted attention may not feel the natural joy.
If you think everything is an illusion why raise a kid in the first place?[/quote] Where did I say everything is an illusion. Truth has two parts... Ultimate and conventional truths. We should be aware of both to live a peaceful life. Kind of peace you need when everything goes wrong.. not what people expect by escaping from life.

So? We already have the Brain to do all work, what do you suggest? take control and try to remember to breathe in and out?
Buddha's way, specially Satipatthana is meant to make the whole brain and whole nervous system purified from defilements which has made a part of our mind unconscious making it conscious... We can use our brain and nervous system more and more as we practice vipassana... like recharging a battery.
Or gaining more space in your hard disk by deleting unnecessary files...
Being aware of breath is not remembering breath.. You are aware to a certain extent that you are sitting... otherwise you would fall... thats how you fall asleep... People who are less aware looks like walking in their sleep.
Tonight try to catch the moment you fall asleep... you can't.. but it is said that Arhanths don't sleep.. they would lie down but only aware.
If you draw a line from 0 to 100... mad people will be closer to zero... who are in a coma almost at zero. Arhanth is at 100... We are somwhere in between... If we get emotional we fall down toward the mad... and if we maintain awareness when we are disturbed we move toward Arhanth-Nibbana.
Awareness is the key.
