y'day in the day time, my dl speed was 70kpbs with 2mbps connection. but i get 230kpbs in the night time. :( what to do. its the speed we are getting from the slt, so cnt change it ne? provider = SRI LANKA telecom. country = SRI LANKA. so i think it is ok
it is more of a "user = dacoolest" issue here :P
if you want a higher speed, you have two options:
1. you can few leased lines and pay a huge premium each month
2. you can migrate to another country, like Singapore. :P

use Download managers at day time if you want to get max bandwidth at day time. Of course you can use torrents in parallel. But torrents alone won't give you the max bandwidth since network is congested.

nope, thats the usual data rate one can get with slt lines. in the day time, specially in the office time, there is a drop in the data rate. since there are no ISPs to compete with slt, lankan user's only choice is slt adsl. they are struggling with the new users load.

that was the speed i got with the Internet Download Manager! yep, i saw some adsl users trying to get into the torrent business, cos of the slow download speed. torrents are slower than direct downloads with IDM?
