And nice work bro. Just one question. Do we have to 1st do the unlock procedure and then run this firmware update or will this firmware automatically unlock the device once installed?

Is it possible to unlock E153-U1 modem? I tried the above link but it doesn't recognize my imei.

i'm not sure machan .. both are same model's i think... sure it's possible.. chk ur IMEI number again n try !!

http://a-zgsm.com/huawei.php?act=submit ......go to this site and type ur imei...n ull gt a unlock code......then insert the dongle with a different sim...(Eg. if its a mobitel dongel...put a different service sim) then iinsert it....whn mobile partner detects..it will ask for an unlock code...type the unlock code given from the site.....VIOLLA
FYI.....u can unlock any huwaie dongle....n sm zte dongles....lyk mf100...but zte...cnt seem to fine the software....so if any of u find the soft....let me knw ok!
