I want to ship my used laptop from australia via aumail will i be imposed a tax here

Hi friends.
I had left my laptop when i went to visit australia . i want it back and i am thinking of using the australian mailing sytem(aupost) to get the laptop back through package shipping .


I just want to know if anyone know if my laptop be imposed to tax when it reaches customs in sri lanka.

The laptop is not a new one its old one i used ..

will appreciate the info or advice

me too i want to get mac book from Australia i mean my brother's mac. him to send me.. dont know how the tax if its used one

i brought a laptop from ebay and they sent me via FedEx....since the laptop is new customes charge me Rs 7500 for tax...

but they told me that if the seller mention it as used one, only little amount of tax...
so since your laptop is a used one, only little amount you have to pay,,,
