    6. you're heavily set in the "they are against Christianity" mentality that you are refusing to accept that you have broken the law.

Do you at-least accept the fact that if you had fixed that blessed cross on the side of your bike, none of this would have happened ?

You know why I am in that Mentality?

    1. Recently two Buddhist statues were instated on the road sides of Katubedda. Polkotuwa Road, and Thuduwanmulla Road, and you know what? These two roads are used by the Catholic Church procession. Not a single Temple procession travels in these roads. These statues were situated by thugs! Planned! during late night hours... Talk about law... THE LAW states they cannot situate a Buddhist statues on roads.... WHERE IS THE LAW?

    2. Further climax was that Buddhist monks wanted to situate a Buddhist statue inside the Roman Catholic College premises, a College sponsored by the Catholic church since its start.

    3. The Jubilee Road, at Katubedda, which is in-front of the Catholic Church. These thugs also wanted to situate a Buddhist statue there as well covering all three routes of the church procession. They wanted to situate a Buddha statue in-front of church! Now whats with this?

    4. Buddhist people in Soysapura have started to grow trees in Soysapura church land and claiming it as there own. A cross on the church land was recently destroyed with the participation on Buddhist monks and Hela urumaya leaders.

For a person who is not in society please read and come to know these things. I have made previous topics regarding these incidents. You can stand on your head and tell me that that there is not religious conflict in Moratuwa, but people here in Moratuwa will laugh at you :lol::lol:... The Police incident that occurred was expected. I am not afraid to risk anything for God. Jesus died for us on the cross, and I will protect mine.

What about the Catholic church luring Buddhists to embrace Christianity island wide? Could there be anything worse than that?
There are dumbos no matter what the religion is. Please don't try to worsen the situation.

Is that the worst offense you can say about the Church? Catholic Church does not even like to take Buddhist... but those Pastor Religions (not part of the Catholic Church) do take them. But they also take Catholics as well... they are a problem to all religions

    you've negated your own statement.
Road side is NOT on the road. Any statues erected on any public place requires the approval of the local governing body (පලාත් සභා/නගර සභා/ප්‍රාදේදීය සභා).
If these were erected illegally you can go to courts. The law is there, You need to use it. crying wolf doesnt magically enforce it.
    2. Further climax was that Buddhist monks wanted to situate a Buddhist statue inside the Roman Catholic College premises, a College sponsored by the Catholic church since its start.
Is the college in question a semi government school ? if so, teaching and practicing Buddhism is required BY LAW.

    3. The Jubilee Road, at Katubedda, which is in-front of the Catholic Church. These thugs also wanted to situate a Buddhist statue there as well covering all three routes of the church procession. They wanted to situate a Buddha statue in-front of church! Now whats with this?
why the fuck not ? its not on church premises is it ? the statues isnt blocking the roads or the church.

    4. Buddhist people in Soysapura have started to grow trees in Soysapura church land and claiming it as there own. A cross on the church land was recently destroyed with the participation on Buddhist monks and Hela urumaya leaders.
Anything within the church premises, the church can remove. you can make a complaint to the police and get them to remove it. You will ofcause have to prove that these were grown on church land.
For a person who is not in society please read and come to know these things. I have made previous topics regarding these incidents. Ah, now we come to heart of the matter. You knowingly broke the law just to provoke a religious conflict so that you can use it as an excuse to air out these other matters.

You still havent answered my question : Do you agree that had you fixed that cross on the side of your bike none of this would have happened.

No, the law was broken before anything happened. Using the Buddha jayanthiyata make this a Buddhist only country was the place the law was broken. Not everyone in this world will have the guts to open a mouth and say "remove that cross".

Mr. kosandpol, narrow minded thinking by people like you is the reason this issue was first started. Law is just a guide.... the path of life is different. There are places when your path will take you in and out of the path of law. None here lives a perfect lawful life, I just told about an incident that really happened, and remember, people like you are the reason these incidents happen.

You try going to court and see if it does remove the statue.... what do you think will happen? You will go in a coffin the next day. Road sides and roads are equal... its a public place.
Where were you when the city council removed the temple structure that was at borella junction ?
And no, road side and the road are NOT equal even though both are public places,

Who said about teaching? Then why doesn't Prince Of Wales College have a Jesus statue? There is a category called Buddhist schools and Catholic schools... Buddhist sooooooo want their children in Catholic schools because they have very good discipline.
Ask from the school about why there's no statue of jesus in it. While there are such categories, All semi govt schools in this country are required by law to teach and practice buddhism. They way you avoided that part shows that the school in question is a semi govt. school and you're just showing your bigotry against buddhists.

I can see with this comment that your a Buddhist extremist aka "Yahapath Bawuddaya". What happens when you situate a Catholic statue infront of a temple.... How many will like it???
Nothing happens. Go to other predominately christian areas in the country and see. There are statues of various saints erected at road sides, juctions, and in front of temples (across the road) and they are staying there just fine.

YOu know what koesandpol, you are really not educated socially... there more things about lands you need to know. I have no intention of wining up an idiot...
suggest you look at a mirror first.
I know enough about the lad and society to spot an extremist bigot (thats you if you didnt figure it out by now) when I see one.

No, the law was broken before anything happened. Using the Buddha jayanthiyata make this a Buddhist only country was the place the law was broken.
No such thin has happened as yet. You still staying in moratuwa and making this unnecessary noise proves that.

Not everyone in this world will have the guts to open a mouth and say "remove that cross".
so you're angry that a cop had guts ?
    well woo pi doo.
What happen? this is MINNOR thing compared to what has already happened weeks ago... let go of that anger before post again... you making fool of yourself.
I'm not the one angry or whining. You are. Its proven by yout tone throughout this thread.

Mr. kosandpol, narrow minded thinking by people like you is the reason this issue was first started. Law is just a guide.... the path of life is different. Oh this is rich. You cant see beyond the religious aspect of the matter and yet you are calling me narrow minded.

You have, in so many words, accepted that you have broken a law but you're finding fault with the police for buddhists for it. The police is an instrument to enforce the law, by which they are required to be not partial to religious matters.
Still you have avoided my question yet again : do you accept that if you had your cross on the side of the bike, you wouldnt have got pulled over by cops in the first place ?

Dude there are number of occasions when the CATHOLIC CHURCH took Buddhists. As I told you before it is pointless fighting over these things... You are trying to make a big deal out of nothing... You are telling that the whole Buddhist community is against the Catholic Church just because you were fined for having an led cross on your bike and stuff... Dude get real! :D As long as you have that mentality those things are going to happen to you....

Indeed it is pointless. What I have said in this topic is not false... these things are their and no one can say it is not. Buddhist community is NOT against the Catholic Church! Buddhist leaders who are a few extremists are trying to make an issue using the advantage of minority! Which the same thing the Sinhalise did to Tamils.
