lol it's not true. there are ICBT campuses in all over the Island. if you don't believe me look it up by yourself .well let's say ICBT is not reputed but still it's not really necessary since they mostly give forigen degrees of reputed UK universities.

there are IJTS campuses all over the island.
PC houses were also all over the island.
Its not how much people do you how much people do it machan look at the Msc content.

You may do a Msc in place like SLIIT UCSC or Mora.. There main concern is research. Research panel supervisors all are well experienced people. Most of Lecturers have doctorates or industry experience. When you compare with them ICBT is not that reputed.

Even SLIIT NIBM/NSBM got some courses approved by UGC. Does ICBT got atleast one degree program approved by UGC?

For ICBT : Machan i dont have any personal grudges against them, i just said with compared to APIIT NIBM SLIIT...
If you want to do it in ICBT.. just check research, i saw they only take thesis, check whether they hold or their students participate conferences.

Do exams conducted by persons from Cardiff university (they visit ICBT campus conduct exams by themselves by bringing papers)?
Do paper marking done by Cardiff university?

If all above 3 are Yes then i have to agree that there is a standard. But not about lecturers.

papers are made by Cardiff and when it's not, they have a set of guidelines so the lecturers have to make the papers based on those guidelines ,it's not important who conducts the exam.
how come it's important for a degree program? after you had the Msc no one is going to ask from you who conducts the exam, the important thing is the contents of the program and the parent university's reputation and what you have had, your degree.
it seems you don't understand how degree programs work.

Do papers made by subject teacher of the school?
Do examinations conduct by class teachers of the school?
Do papers marked by School teacher?

Content of the A\Ls O\Ls is same for whole country, but when it comes to exams there should be a standard way... otherwise its its not well reputed... Imagine that A\Ls is conducted by private school, and teacher of that school is going to exam and mark the papers. Don't you think they may not do anything biased???

When you do a foreign degree in Sri lanka you should consider these matter.. If you do a Sri lankan degree, at least make sure UGC approved it. Machan there are so many institutes offer foreign degrees the institute or campus you are going to do should be a significant one.

මචන් 100% foreign university එක ගැන හිතන්න තිබ්බා lectures විතරක් ICBT එකෙන් තිබිලා examinations foreign university එකෙන් කරලා එයාලම mark කලානම්. මම මචන් foreign degree එකක් කරපු එකෙක්. ජීවිතේට Msc,Bsc subjects දනට repeat වෙලානම් නැහැ හැබැයි මහ ලොකු මීටරයකුත් නෙමෙයි, කොහොම හරි ගේම ගහනවා... උඹට මාව මොඩයෙක් වගේ පේන්නේ උඹ බලන කෝනයෙන් නෙමෙයි මම දේවල් බලන්නේ...

Exam conduct කරන එකාගෙන් අපිට වැඩක් නෑ ඒක කවුරු conduct කරත් අපිට මෝකේ අපිට වැදගත් වෙන්නේ Degree එකයි, ඒක දෙන Parent university එකයි, lecturers ලා හොරුන්ද නැද්ද කියන එකයි විතරයි. අපිට ICBT reputed ද නැද්ද වැඩක් නෑ නමුත් අපිට වැදගත් ICBT හොරුන්ද නැද්ද කියලා. ICBT එක හොරු නෙවෙයි ඉතින් එච්චරයි අවශ්‍යය.

ICBT's reputation is not important , the important thing is whether it's an accepted one or not by parent university, government etc.. since it's an accepted one it's completely fine beside the contents are formed and recommend by the parent university (in here Cardiff) so it's also fine, lecturers are qualified to conduct a post graduated degree program so it's also fine. so what else important to you? so stop circling around
