Too bad hey. Maybe you'll have to with the 7300GS for the moment. 10k is too much considering what i paid for mine.

Can you list out all the pci-e video cards (128MB RAM or more - all of them) at pc house etc. and let me know? Maybe there could be a surprise card somewhere. You never know.

Man, u wont believe, But Pc House only had 6200 and 6600 with them (@ Unity) and some ATI's (I just askd the price of X800 GTO), checked last week. And the Kandy branch only has X300 for 12k, X550 for 16k or something. EPSI had some ATI's, I didnt ask prices of all cards. 6600GT is out of stock @ EPSI, they say they wont bring 6 series cards anymore. I really miss a vga, bcoz of Carbon, Is 6600 ok?

It's the VGA cable that's broken. If you move it, the screen will turn yellow and back normal. It gets worse to a point where you have to replace the cable.
yeah dats what happenin... its bent from da begening of da vga out:(:(

Everyone gets stuck when it comes to the video card. Even in my old PC, I had to wait for 4 months to buy a video card. But the video card I bought for the PC was an amazing card. Radeon 9700Pro, for Rs.35,000!!! This was when it was selling for around US$260-300. Price wise, it was OK. Expensive, but for the performance it delivered, it was fine. (This was a present from my grand father for me passing A/Ls with 3 A's) This was the third fastest card by then, pretty much like the X1900XT now. But the damn thing burnt after about 1.5 years!!! You wouldn't know how bad I felt.

Then I had to buy a 9600Pro, which gave about 60% of speed of the old card. I felt so terrible that I almost gave up gaming. I was gonna get a 6600 (non pro) but there weren't any AGP cards. 9600Pro was the only AGP card. I bought it for 13,500 about two years ago. (at that time, 6600 non pro pci-e was Rs.22,000 and delivered pretty much the same performance as the 9700Pro)

Now this X800GTO card was a dream come true. Maybe a little patience will be rewarded. Too bad ATI's DX10 cards won't be released for a while (at least till January end). Then cards like X1600 will become cheaper and affordable.

    Cheers...
Tell us how good it is, in NFSC etc. and your overclocking adventures, if you dare do that. ;)

So the memory didn't overclock at all? 800MHz is the default right?

Maybe you should turn off mortion blur in NFSC. Most people don't like how EA have implemented it in NFSC.

BTW, you ready to beat my times on the sprint races in NFSC?

Oh its a pleasure to beat u... hold on i just tried quick races on my pc, man!!
Yes I also think motion blur is used improperly.

Memory doesnt move past 800  , rock solid i think :( , yes its the default. At first it showed up as 600 or something  , i had oc a little to get the chipset default, Temperature is shown on the cpanel and there is an feature that slows down the core at extreme tempratures, its turned on always. And there's an option to alert us on extreme temperature. I havnt even installed new drivers yet, i hav them...

RivaTuner is the best for nVidia cards. But since you have no fan on the card, you might be better off with a mild overclock - the overclock the driver suggests.

ATITool, which is the best for ATI cards, have a feature which finds the maximum stable/safe core and memory clock speeds. Unless RivaTuner has something like that, you should stick with the driver's overclocker.

Damn I just saw your PM. So it has a fan.

Then try RivaTuner. Check if it has a artifact scanner before you do any overclocking.
