දන්න කෙනෙක් කියනවද ලංකාවෙදි International driving licence එක ගන්න පුලුවන් කොහෙන්ද සහ කොහොමද කියල. ඒක ගන්න කලින් general driving licence එක අරගෙන ඉන්න ඕනද?

1. Those with Sri Lankan Driving License planning to travel abroad can obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP) by applying to the Automobile Association of Ceylon. Drivers who are going to a country for reasons other than touring purposes and staying for a period longer than 3 months and hold social visit passes for more than 3 months are advised to International Driving Permit.

For some countries local licence is valid and International Driving licence is valid for 3,6 or 12 months only depending on the country. Check the country before you go. Some countries only need the photocopy of original Sri Lankan licence to to stamped by foreign ministry.But u need to pay 500rs to RMV to get this paper to foreign ministry .

I think AA of Sri Lanka is charging 8800 for International Licence. But u need paper from RMV.
