For example, your favourite Kasun used to be a devoted celtic music fan.
I guess its because the Celtic form of music is easy to blend with sri lankan- sinhalese lyrics and can easily be creted by sgutars and strings.

The Mal mitak thiyanna - or so called the Norwegian folklore meldoy or whatever is also a strikingly similar Celtic influenced and created song.

Why i say kasun is not original becuase if you look closer Nowadays you will see he is shifting from Celtic to Spanish meldodies.
and i see some shamefull similarities in his compositions with the likes like josheph padilla and other great spanish - Latin music influences.
Spanish music is Desparado sort of music. what gets played in Zorro as well.

Good examples of this Kasun shift is the song he did for Athula.
Sihinen Sihineta. written by Kalum sri mal.

So whats my point?

My think He ran out of celtic music exapmples he could work with.
Now shifting to the Spanish - Latin music structures.
Why?
Because, His music is Guitar music. Acoustic music.
Take all his songs. thats his main Instrument.
And why? Because he can ONLY create music from those instruments.

He's current compositions are srtikingly similar to Deparado film music.
And josheph padilla's work. Specially Athula's song. I will upload these songs as soon as i can download them by paying itunes.

We are ready to steal or Get inspired but Cannot/ Not willing to pay the

None of our artists cannot pay the Sir-charge of such sampling/base fee for the original artist. so they simply steal and dont bother or just forget to mention

I'm sure He's record company handles legal things whenever he wants to RE-MAKE some fine Old or contempory, in this case - You raise me up (by the way.. I have heard the original and it's nice too.. in a old way he he..)
by negotiating and getting consensus from the original artist.

Thats the case.

So the difference is..

Thats properly done, Re-Make where necessary thing are done in an ethical way.

Here, we Get Inspired he he.. we get inspired sooo much we play the same damn thing, But conveniently fail to mention where this is taken from.

My whole argument is. Listen to music. Get Inspired.
Just don't DO the same thing. Same melody. Same Music.
