Thai airline flight makes emergency landing at Sri Lanka’s airport with two dead passengers

A Thai Lion Air plane made an emergency landing at Sri Lanka’s Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) early Monday morning after two passengers became seriously ill, according to airport authorities.
The plane, which was flying from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Indonesia's Surabaya Airport, was diverted to the BIA after the two passengers fell ill and made an emergency landing at around 2:45 am today.

However, both passengers were found deceased when the plane landed at the airport, airport authorities said.

Police said the two Indonesian passengers were pronounced dead upon landing and an investigation has been launched.

Following a probe, the remains of the two passengers will be handed over to the Indonesian Embassy in Colombo, police said.

I don't know much but I watched the news. One doctor who was in-charged of the deceased people refused to cut open the bodies and demanded to sent the bodies back their country. That sound fishy at that point but never thought it could be link to #coronavirus.
