ur password is wrong... it checks ur username as correct neh so its ur password.. check for capitals an symbols in da pass an retry... use cuteftp macho.. much faster dan filezilla for stuff like dis... if u want ill send u a link to download..

anyhow in filezilla when u are givin ur connection details u have made a mistake dats why dat error is coming..

Ah Machnz.. I tried with changing the primary account password and to access with that.. ekath ekama error eka..

and I tried to add FTP users .. and tryd to login usin that username and password.. but same problem..

Machan.. I have created a a website in my localhost computer using Joomla

Now I want to launch the site into the web.. So I brought a domain from GoDaddy.com ..

Im a newbie into this and I was using This Tutorial in order to set up the website...

Now Im Stuck in the Step 08 Which asks to upload some files into the web host directory...

I used FileZilla as my FTP Client .. When I give the host name and the password, Port number as 21 and try to login it says.. Cannot connect kiyla Error enawa...

Plase explain m on how to use the FileZilla.. And Solve th above problem ..

Machnz.. Sumhw I managed to clear out the FTP ..

I must upload the kickstart.php and the Joomlpack jpp file to the Public_Html rite?? But I dnt see any in the FileZilla server side screen..

I did googling and it sayz GoDaddy doesnt have a Public_Html ...

then what to do ??

I Just uploaded those files and I tried to access www.mysitename.com/kickstart.php but its giving me this error..

i think we can't access kickstart.php directly. you can change the error massage by modifying .htaccess file and adding some html error handling tricks. public_html, it's like root dir. something with linux hosting i guess upload that file to root dir and try. before upload check it out on local host and if you are doing stuffs with php, you have to rebuild your whole site for the hosting path otherwise it will never work. when you are doing stuffs with php or aspx ..etc, try to create a configuration file

like that so you can easily customize too. you better try to build your own web application it'll help you to know lots about www. thank you

I have a 3 joomla websites on godaddy.

machn do not try to upload joomla folder to godaddy hosting.you will have lots of problems in future regarding file permission errors.use hosting connections option in godaddy and then install joomla using that,it is very easy and reliable as well.

BTW you have to give the ftp username and password of godaddy i think that may have gone wrong.

but seems u hav to pay for this option ney :s
